Wenzlau Architects, established in 1996, is located on Bainbridge Island, Washington, a short ferry trip from downtown Seattle. Firm principal Charles Wenzlau has been in practice for over twenty years and has a background in landscape architecture, neighborhood design, real estate development and affordable housing.

Charles has extensive experience working with a variety of housing and building types, from the scale of single family residences to mixed use projects and neighborhood planning. He has consulted throughout the Northwest on a variety of town planning projects and has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Washington.

A long time advocate for affordable housing, Charles has served on numerous citizen committees and served as chair of the Mayor's Task Force on Affordable Housing.
