Wenzlau Architects is a Bainbridge Island based architectural firm with a focus on multifamily and mixed use projects.  We have current work on Bainbridge and in Kitsap County.  Our small size and collaborative work environment makes each staff member integral to our success and allows a broad range of involvement in projects.  Our available positions are posted below.

 

Full-time employees receive competitive benefits and paid overtime above 40 hours per week. Our office is just a short ferry ride from downtown Seattle, a relaxing way to commute from the city. As part of our benefits package, the office covers ferry expenses for the first year.

Architect 5 - 10 years experience

​

Qualifications:
The following credentials, experience and skills would be ideal for this position:

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree or higher, with at least 5 years of work experience

  • Proficiency in Revit and associated Autodesk BIM and 3D applications

    • Revit work experience required. Revit family creation, worksharing and scheduling experience preferred.

    • Autodesk Revit Certified Professional credential (not necessary for applicants, but is required for confirmation to full-time status; attainment is supported by firm)

  • Understanding of IBC, IRC & WSEC, with focus on multifamily, mixed use and commercial

Senior Project Architect 10 - 15 years experience

​

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a design & production team 

  • Thorough knowledge of Type 5 Construction & IBC for multi-family buildings

  • Proficiency in Revit and associated Autodesk BIM and 3D applications.
